Unclear device selection
Different manufacturers, specifications and recommendations make it harder to choose the right solution.
sunparq Measurement Operating Model
sunparq helps O&M companies and EPCs build PV measurements in solar parks as a practical, repeatable and effectively manageable process - from selecting suitable measuring devices and software to data structure, reporting, training and ongoing operational readiness.
The real problem
Many companies buy a good measuring device – but without clear implementation, data structure, reporting workflow and support, rework, uncertainty and unnecessary time loss in the field can still occur.
Different manufacturers, specifications and recommendations make it harder to choose the right solution.
Teams measure differently, new technicians need too long and knowledge often remains with individual people.
Measurement data is generated, but not consistently structured, evaluated or converted into reliable reports.
When results are implausible, the team needs fast technical classification instead of waiting a long time for manufacturer feedback.
Our solutions
The four modules can be started individually, but they are designed to logically build on one another: selection, implementation, ongoing operational capability and support in critical cases.
Module 1
For companies that want to select a suitable measurement solution or review an existing one.
Module 2
For companies that want to introduce a new or existing measurement solution operationally into their teams.
Module 3
For O&M teams that want to keep their measurement capability stable in the long term and make new employees productive faster.
Module 4
For situations where measurement problems, unclear results or important reports need to be classified quickly.
Which entry point fits?
Some teams are still looking for the right solution. Others already have a measuring device and need training, structure or ongoing support.
Then the Measurement Assessment is the right entry point to properly evaluate requirements, devices, software and the reporting process.
Then training or an Operational Review may be the better entry point to make teams productive faster.
Then Operational Readiness makes sense to permanently cover support, onboarding, report reviews and process reliability.
Process
The entry point begins with a compact classification of the current situation: which measurement tasks are upcoming, which devices and software are available, how the teams work today and which next steps make sense? This results in the right entry point into Assessment, Rollout, Operational Readiness or Critical Support.
In a short conversation, we clarify the starting point, measurement tasks, existing measuring devices, team structure, data workflow and reporting goals.
We classify whether an Assessment should come first, whether training is sufficient or whether a Rollout or ongoing support is needed directly.
Based on the classification, we define the right entry point: concrete analysis, training, rollout plan, report review or support model.
Afterwards, the measurement solution is introduced in practice and, if required, stabilized in ongoing O&M operations through Operational Readiness.
Why sunparq?
sunparq does not treat PV measurements as a pure device question, but as the interaction of measurement technology, team structure, software, data management and reporting. What matters is whether this creates a process that works reliably in everyday O&M.
The focus is not only on which measuring device is used, but on how measurement tasks, operation, data structure and reporting are connected into a usable work process.
Focus on O&M teams for solar parks, not on general PV consulting or residential applications.
You work directly with the person who is technically responsible for assessment, rollout, training and support - without unnecessary handovers between sales, training and technical teams.
Not only device operation, but structured data, reliable reports and repeatable workflows for ongoing O&M operations.
FAQ
The following questions help classify which module makes sense for your current situation - from the first overview to the ongoing operational capability of the measurement process.
Not necessarily. If it is already clear which measuring device and which software will be used, training, a rollout or a targeted report review may be the better entry point.
An Assessment is especially useful when measurement tasks, device selection, data structure, reporting requirements or the fit with existing O&M processes have not yet been clearly defined.
No. The sunparq Measurement Operating Model is suitable both for new measurement solutions and for existing devices and software.
Especially with existing measuring devices, there is often potential when operation, data structure, project organization and reporting are better aligned with practical everyday O&M work.
EPCs often work with O&M companies that manage solar parks in the background. Measurement data, report structure and documentation can differ depending on the service provider.
sunparq helps define measurement and reporting requirements more clearly, train O&M partners in a practical way and make reports more transparent and comparable.
sunparq supports the selection, introduction and operational use of measurement solutions. However, the focus is not pure device sales, but a functioning measurement, data and reporting process.
Device procurement, accessories or extensions can be considered as part of a rollout or process change. However, sunparq is not a classic measuring device shop.
Normal support usually answers individual questions. Operational Readiness looks at the ongoing readiness of the entire measurement process: measuring device, software, data structure, team knowledge, reporting and escalation.
This includes technical support, onboarding of new employees, report reviews, workflow adjustments and prioritized classification when measurement data or reports need to be evaluated quickly during operation.
Critical Support makes sense when unclear measurement results, software problems, missing data, urgent reports or technical escalations require fast classification.
Typical situations include critical field cases, questions from EPCs or asset managers, implausible measurement values or short-term decisions in ongoing O&M operations.
Next step
We first review your target setup, team structure, PV testers, reporting and support needs - then we decide together whether Assessment, Rollout or Operational Readiness is the right fit.
